The "BUND" Riverbank of the HuangPu River in Shanghai with dozens historic buildings that once housed banks and trading companies from United Kingdom, France, United States, Italy, Russia, Germany, Japan, Netherlands and Belgium as well as consulates, newspapers and the Masonic & Shanghai Clubs seen from the Lujiazui Riverbank in Pudong at 7 p.m.

The China Merchants Steam Navigation Company Building constructed 1901 at the site of the former Russel & Co Building (now Dolce & Gabbana), the Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation HSBC Building, later Peoples Government of the Municipality of Shanghai and actually Shanghai Pudong Development Bank built in 1921-23, the Jianghai Customs House built in 1927 with a clock bell tower that imitates Big Ben and the former Bank of Communications built in 1948, now Shanghai Municipal Trade Union Council.







The new inaugurated Shanghai Tower, with 632 meters height, 128 storeys and a total surface of 380.000 square meters represents in 2017 the tallest building of the Peoples Republic of China and the second tallest building of the world, here viewed between the two towers of the Shanghai International Finance Center IFC

Building facade of the Changshou Community School in the Xinhui Road with Neoclassicism Design and european religious symbols. The first appearance wouldn´t let expect that the building forms the northern outside limit of the Buddhist Jade Buddha Temple in Shanghai Jing An.







The opposite front of the Jade Buddha Temple consists in the main entrance Buildings of the Temple in the Anyuan Road parallel to Xinhui Road that have been constructed during the period from 1918 until 1928, when the whole temple has been erected.
